PROMISE
The client was looking for a new way to expand her audience to attract Mexican national women. The name was originally between two choices a Salon called Gloss or Mas Amor Boutique and Salon. Gloss would be a typical salon while Mas Amor Boutique and Salon, would sell clothes and Spanish culture art as well as provide salon services.
NAMING & SOLUTION
While understanding the problem, the solution I came up with was to go for the Mas Amor Boutique and Salon. This would appeal to her new expanding market, as well as make room for a creative solution. However, dropping the word boutique in order to have room for a short mark that matched the first word. In the Spanish language, mas amor means much love. MÁS standing for Mas Amor Salon.

The flower is made of all hearts to reflect the Mas Amor / much love concept as well as keeping the mark elegant and clean.
TAGLINE EXPLORATION
Tells the three services the salon provides, three tags that you will experience are getting your hair done, beauty being self-love, and amor being the lively staff. Amor is also perceived as "and more" which opens up to another service of wedding travel for events.

BRAND COLORS
Originally the brand colors were the flamingo pink and an almost black. The purple and the teal were brought in from some of the salon decor and allows the brand to be more lively and expressive in their deliverables. Particularly these colors were chosen for they are commonly found in Spanish architecture.

Inspiration from in-store art work, this one in particular because it really had a feel for the brand, and it was an art piece in and of itself.

Social media ad was designed as an art piece to reflect the client's needs of having a salon that sells Mexican artwork and also be a little boutique. There are three ads to showcase different styles of hair they do as well as give off the Mas Amor / Much Love vibe of self-love, being fun, and energetic.

OVERVIEW
Mas Amor Salon is a very hip new salon out of Sacramento, California. It has been a pleasure working with them and elevating their brand. As of now, work has included the logo, business cards for the stylists, store signage, as well as social media ads. Mas Amor is an ongoing client and I look forward to the next project.
