PROMISE

Effectively design a new concept for a protein company, that will be more environmentally friendly with the packaging. Traditionally, the packaging of protein uses a plastic container when in bulk, and a plastic bottle when sold individually. If protein comes in a 4-pack, it has a cardboard carrier, and each beverage is bottled in a plastic coated carton. The new package needs to be either REDUCED, RECYCLABLE, and or REUSABLE.

SOLUTION

The bottles will be REUSABLE to the consumer, by it doubling as a drink container as well as shaker for future use.  The bottle will be 32 oz versus the 11-16 oz shaker, in order to be used as a shaker and a water bottle. The concept that will push the brand, is that the product is whey/milk protein. Having the subject of milk, and differentiating it from competition of what is on the market. The container of choice will be an old fashioned milk bottle. There will be also a protein dispenser:  BUY PROTEIN BY THE POUND

During the 1930s-1950s, milk was being delivered to your door by the Milk Man. These bottles were heavy duty, and came in a 32 oz jug, perfect for a shaker. 

1930's DECO MILKMAN

The logo concept came from the era in which milk was delivered to your doorstep. Why? When conducting a competitive analysis for whey/milk protein brands, this concept of old fashioned milk bottles was missing.

TAGLINE 

The tagline derives from a saying that you can have your cake and eat it too! This is fitting for the brand because desserts are something you shy away from if you are trying to lose weight, or be healthy. However, not with this protein shake. It allows you to have your "cake" and eat it too, because the flavors for the protein shakes are based on 1930's classic desserts. 

BRAND COLORS

The inspiration for the colors was found through these classic desserts of the 1930's, as well as top fashion colors from the same era.

GET THE 4-PACK

The four-pack allows you to try each flavor to decide on your favorites. So, will it be Strawberry Shortcake, Blueberry Icebox, Moon Pie, or Devil's Food. Any route leads to choosing the desired flavor through the protein powder dispenser, found at your nearest grocery store.

The dispenser also adds to the brand being eco-friendly. Consumers will be able to refill containers, instead of throwing them away every-time they run out.

Milkman is a concept for an environmentally friendly protein company.  This company is like nothing on the market. The brand brings you the best parts of the 1930s and 1950s to today so we can enjoy it too.
