PROMISE
The client was looking for a rebrand for a start-up restaurant training app. This app is a new way for future employees to learn the menu. The client needed a new logo, business card, pitch document for restaurants as well as UX / UI.
SOLUTION
Understanding that the logo needed to be something that could be versatile, so that this new style of learning could be adapted throughout the restaurant system, educational system, and possibly the medical field as well.

HOW
TapNotion takes what you need to know and challenges you to learn it. TapNotion utilizes gaming concepts to turn information into a challenging and entertaining process. What once took days of repetition can be permanently memorized in a fraction of the time. TapNotion presents information in manageable segments, and then reacts to what you know, and what you don’t, to create a custom learning experience tailored to you.

The logo represents the motion of the interaction the user has with the app. The strategy was to veer away from the restaurant in order for the logo to be flexible with future applications.
TAP NOTION CONCEPT
BRAND COLORS
Brighter colors were chosen to give off a sense of a fun training experience for the establishments new hires. Each color was based on either category in the menu or colors brought in from the environment.

Using the logo’s stroke weight and geometric forms, icon family was formed signifying wine categories for gameplay.

OVERVIEW
TapNotion is a start-up company that needed a good foundation in both Identity and UX design. The solution elevates the learning experience by making it fun and intuitive. Working with the founder of TapNotion was a great experience, I would enjoy doing more work for them, with their future learning applications that take the concept, and go beyond the restaurant industry.
